Don't delete the units, put them in east prussia so that you keep them after you get invaded

Yes, a similar strategy can be done as France, you turn Monarchist, join the allies in the war with Germany, and declare war on the USA and defeat them through Canada

(Not in that specific order though, unless you want Britain to get some war points against the US)

This also happens to be the easiest method for forming the EU. Steps are all the exact same with capping to France, except don't join the allies. Lot more fun since you still have the challenge of fighting the allies, but with the added ability to core half of Europe.

Invading the allies super early is pretty easy but this seems like a great strat for new players lol

You can also keep your army in Koenisberg
