Help? The very first step is already not working.Connected the power then turned on.Power LED is on. Just like you showed.When i hold reset button 10-20 or more seconds, just nothing happens!!!Power led is all i see, nothing else blinking at all.
It worked 1 or 2 times before, but only after the device was on for 10 or more minutes with pc and modem cables connected. Also 2 and 3 LED were blinking. But my PC doesnt react to anything. Windows 7 says, network cable is not connected, BUT IT IS. Normally when i connect my cat5 from Modem to my PC, i immediatly have internet access. If its connected to tplink and from it to PC, nothing happens. As i said, sometimes i see first 3 LEDs (2nd and 3rd blinking). I have no idea what causes that. If i follow the instruction by tplink (quick guide) it wants me to have 4 LEDS on.I get (sometimes) only first 3. One of 4 PC leds is not blinking. I tryed 2 different cables. It doesnt recognize my PC, why???Thats why i cant even change anything from the browser, 192.168.1.1 is of course not opening. No connection between tplink and pc
my model is not 841N but 841ND.I think they are almost same

Hello Harry, very nice video with good explanation :)
- im from INDIA
- i have this same model TL-WR841N,
- My query is i need to configure this router again and again whenever i turn on the    router after a long turn off, as electricity cut off happens in my area,
- My internet connection is a wired connection naming DNA, i have a login id and password and the ip which i have asked to select by the ISP is Dynamic IP
Please assist me how will my internet work properly without configuring the router again and again.
