Earth 2.0 io Honest Review: 8 Months Later (2025)

Can you make money investing with Earth 2.0 io? Is Earth 2.0 io a scam? We are going to answer all these questions.

Earth 2.0 io is a virtual platform where you can claim, buy and sell virtual land in 10 by 10 meter plots or "tiles". It's a 1 to 1 scale of the actual Earth we live on. This is a game which uses real money in order to buy and sell the land.

I first heard about Earth 2.0 while scrolling through the financial videos on TikTok. There were several videos of people claiming they made $1,000s and $10,000s of dollars "investing" in Earth 2.0 io and that it didn't require "any work" nor "maintenance" to make this kind of profit. Since this YouTube channel is all about side hustles and testing ways to make money, I wanted to try this out for myself. I put an originally invest/capital of $250 through my credit card. Watch the video to see my first hand experience for the last 3 weeks of using this app/website.

No one says as an investment platform it's a scam. Which is all you looked at it as. Remember this is supposed to be a video game where you can use resources play things do many many things with the land you purchased and that's why they hold value cause what the can be. In that regards it is a 100% scam, their developers are subpar and couldn't ever reach half the goals they set, they can't do the graphics, can't do the level of integral gameplay, heck they are having problems making the investment part as accessible as possible. 1 year in 1 they haven't even begun any part of game, no evidence showing its being worked on. Once people stop believing the game is coming the value of the land will be horribly ruined. I don't know how other virtual lands work but Earth 2 is a pure gaming scam, they can't produce even a tenth of what they promised and they keep pushing back any concept ideas of gameplay cause once people actually see it the land will devalue and will not ever recover.

It’s a scam for all we know when it comes to their promises and their actual capabilities. Even from recent information about their security problems of their platform …. It’s unimaginable for a real tech company.

Earth 2 has no actual playable product. All the wealth generated by Earth 2 is based on speculative investment or abuse of FOMO. There will never be a game, as clearly indicated by their major developers walking out. The value of tiles is extremely volatile and could change at a pin drop, depending on what absurd announcements or changes happen within the company. Making money from Earth 2 is ONLY done at someone else's loss.

No. We did not confirm it's not a scam. As people already have pointed out here everything hangs on the ideia of it being a game, which makes it all a complete scam. The only way it would not be a scam would be with the release of the game. A game which is literally impossible to be made.

There are other aspects and factors to consider. Tile classes make a big difference in resale value, and location within each country is a big deal.
There’s also the cryptocurrency that is mined from each property daily.
Also jewels spawn on properties daily that you can actually sell on the marketplace. Coming soon resources will spawn, which will be needed when the game is released.
It will be a metaverse which is a growing industry, so holding property for the long term is where big returns will be in my opinion.

By the same token, if you own the Eiffel tower plot the market value will be way too low, it would be under valued. You have to be smart and buy the right places. Also, you sold all your properties without collecting derivatives (essence, airdrop, retroactive resources). I think you made some mistakes in your strategy here. If you had held, you would also have all Tier 1 properties, now you can only buy Tier 2, unless you go to the secondary market.

Nice video, you could have bought more bigger properties not a lot of small properties. My initial investment in earth2 is 12$, and i have cashed out 1k already and still have 5k in earth2, as well as tons of jewels and essence.

Some information in this video is correct but Kevin is not understanding the concept of virtual realestate and real life property investments, (only real comparison)

In reality I've bought property off people that were in a few million in loses on some properties (depending on person situation)

* In reality hard to expect to make money on property in 8 months without touching it, or entertaining it (on earth 2 you can attach epl and jewels and create value)

* in Australia I own real estate agencies and when my guys sell theres a 2-3% commission fee's plus 5% government stamp duty much higher then E2 fees (can't compare earth2 land to stocks/crypto)

* Also i have a few million in ASX that also when my brokers trade I have a 1% fee each way
