This is one of those songs when you tell a friend "you ain't ready for this one." The first time I heard this track on one of my pandora stations. I had to play twice it was so good.

Like a lot of people this song was suggested on my Amazon Music playlist, probably because it's full of artists like Citizen Solider, Dayseeker and Falling in Reverse.

For anyone who's lost someone, especially in such a tragic way, artists like you are a gift. Mental health is such an epidemic right now and many want to just ignore it, but the truth is those who are left behind are the ones who suffer the most. You nailed the feeling of longing and regret, loss of something you can't get back and trying to find ways to anyway. My wife has lost her father, a sister and a brother and wasn't able to tell any of them goodbye and it truly damaged her in a way that can never be repaired, but the hope that there is something beyond on the other side brings comfort.

I met some of these guys yesterday in a gas station in Vass NC. Readjusting their PA gear in their trailer. That's the side of the music game most people don't see..
The long hours on the road. The unloading, the set up.. Sound Check, the Gig.. And then the pack down, load the gear. Wipe all the beer off the microphone cables, load it all up.. Smoke a dube, do a key bump, and hit the road to the next shitty show. Eating cold hamburgers drinking cold coffee..
And you do it all for the love of your music. Your a rocker.. This is what you do. It's how you do it. I've done it for years. It gets into your blood.
I listened to these guys music.. It's well produced, well written, it's not the next big thing.. Doubt they will become household names like other bands..
But. I totally respect and admire that the tradition carries on. Young, hungry band goes for it..
I wish you nothing but success.
