I just watched this video, and it confirmed what I thought. Not only is the speaker horrible aesthetically speaking, but they placed the USB-C connector externally, something that was emblematic of the Xtreme and Boombox lines was that all the connectors were protected by a manual and watertight opening system, well no, Now they put it isolated and in the middle of the speaker. The part of the base in order for the battery to be interchangeable, they have placed a rigid plastic cover that has nothing to do with the rest of the aesthetics, and they mention this about the battery, but in the previous generation, it is enough disassemble the speaker, buy a replacement battery, remove the previous battery with its connector and install the new one, it's that simple, and by wanting to sell a "novelty" they destroyed a large part of the aesthetics of the speaker. The button panel is frankly the worst part of all, the distribution is simply messy to look at. I think it's not going to be anything that overshadows the JBL Xtreme 3 really.

Excellent speaker the only problem is that it will be the price of the Boombox 2, and a BB2 is the better option

Vom Optischen her, finde ich den Extreme3 besser. Aber der hier ist natülich besser, aber vermutlich lohnen 350 nicht, wenn man die E3 hat.

JBL is becoming like apple... It's a shame that nearly every new generation of speakers can't connect to the previous ones. Otherwise I would like to connect the Xtreme 4 with my existing 3x Charge 5 speakers for parties. JBL please save our planet and don't let us throw away the last generation because you make it software wise obsolete!!!!

Meine Glückwünsche gehen raus an Teufel die beim neuen Boomster den Akku fest verbaut haben und damit einen Rückschritt um Jahre gemacht haben. Als Gesetzgeber würde ich den neuen Boomster verbieten.
