The Swedish tree would actually be pretty important as they were a great power for quite some time.

For some time I started to love an idea of "flexible nations" you can say. For example, it's pretty interesting to convert Ottomans to christianity, since they wanted to be the next Rome, but you lose all benefits if you do so. Then why not modify ottoman government depending on a religion? Or maybe keep it the same and just don't remove it. Also, what if your mission tree can change depending on what you chose to do? Like if as Tunis you decided to become a costal pirate/trade nation then all your missions will be around it instead of going deeper into Africa. And lastly, what if nations' flags slightly cahnge depending on religion? Like if you form Egypt as a christian nation, it's a bit weird to have Islamic symbols on your flag lol. And please, can we get Baltic update. I wanna play in my home swamp, but it's too boring and no pagans : (

Personally, I'd love to see a "legacy of the vikings" update with major updates to the Scandinavian and Baltic Regions with minor updates (particularly with the minor nations) in the British Isles, northern Germany, and Russia.

The area that needs the most attention is the Baltics. Lithuania, the northern crusader states, etc. hasn't been touched in years.
In addition this could also be a good time to also update Sweden and the hordes too as they had a lot of history in regards to Lithuania

Lastly, Romuva should be in the game. It was still very well alive by 1444 like the Hussite faith. Maybe have it be a decision you can take as Lithuania in the early game as you denounce the show mass conversion done by Jogaila to appease the Pope and start a Pagan holy war against the Christian Germanic invaders with centers of Romuva faith symbolizing Latvians, Skalvians, Prussian Lithuanians, etc rising up as you conquer more land from the crusaders

I feel like the there should be some kind of line of code that stops the top 3 powers of India from allying each other. Ever time its just Bengal, Delhi, and Bahmanis allies to each other, doing nothing. I'd like to see an AI push to actually unify the region.

Scandinavia, the Baltics, and the Ottomans definitely the biggest areas that need to be updated/fixed

Forming scandinavia actually removes all the flavor events lol. That region definitely needs an update. Would be cool to have Finland, Sapmi and Iceland being viable.
Otto-Byz update would also be cool. Byz doesn't have much except for a free dlc from like 2014.

My unpopular opinion would be an update to Inca so it actually becomes fun after the early game.

Imagine being probably the most talked about muslim empire, literally called "strongest" nation in the game by the developers and community, having immense power in european, middle eastern and african parts of the world

and still have the basic mission tree.

Meanwhile the grandbarony of that no one knows they even exist has everything you could think of

I think some unique mission trees in threat Caucuses would be cool... Georgia could have a tree kind of like Bavaria

I'm surprised that there isn't a lot more mentioned in these types of videos is Poland. Not only is it one of the most popular nations to play, it was also historically incredibly relevant and the fact that 1/2 of its mission tree is generic is atrocious

South America needs an update, like urgently, at the very least the Scandinavians, Balts and Balkans have something to play with, SA is just random native minors and the andeans which are pretty bland all around.

Would love a pack focused on the Baltic/Scandinavia, hopefully Novgorod would be included. I think Russia should have a unique merchant republic government type if you form it with Novgorod kinda like how Prussia has a unique republic version of the Prussian monarchy and militarism mechanics

I think Persia and the areas of the Levant near it definitely need some love. Especially with the tribal federations of Aq Qoyunlu and Qara Qoyunlu. They got the option to stay tribal with a reform that gives yearly tribal allegiance along with estate loyalty equilibrium, but it still doesn't make them sustainable since tribal allegiance decay from development isn't capped at all.

It'd be good for them to have some mechanic like the Mossi, where they can reform as a monarchy with tribal federation mechanics, along with ways to generate tribal allegiance without having to constantly fight or humiliate rivals. Either that or cap decay from development so that the end tribal reform actually does something late game. The other thing I can think of would be buffing aristocratic ideas by adding yearly tribal allegiance as another modifier to one of the ideas in the group, and possibly adding idea group events that give it. It'd also be a good buff for tribal federations compared to the horde, Mamluk and Ottoman governments nearby.

I am definitely biased though since half of my campaigns are as QQ.

I'd say the Caucasus, Chagatai (Why no mission trees???) and the middle east in general REALLY need an update too. Arabia/Persian countries have no mission trees, nor the turks. Chagatai are the one mongol successor states in the game and they don't even have a mission tree and caucasus has nothing in general.

1:58 I dont think there should be Vikings, but a small isolated native Greenlandic Inuit nation could be placed there. That mentions the Vikings in their events or ideas

It makes more sense for Scandinavia + The Baltics would be together in a pack, and that Norse and Romuva should be able to be revived... However I will say that it also makes the most sense for this to be the *last* pack they have for Eu4.

Baltic region includong Livonia, Riga, Teutons, and Lithuania desperately need an update. Such an interesting region has fallen behind in quality when compared to the rest of Europe. Would love to see an update to that region!

I think the biggest thing they should update is ALL mission trees to have 1 or a few missions at the very end that provide permanent bonuses. Many newer mission trees provide permanent bonuses but nations like the Ottomans get missions with bonuses expiring 2 or 3 decades later, making reaching the end of the mission tree to feel less special.
