Cyberpunk 2077, an open-world, action-adventure story from CD PROJEKT RED, is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia on December 10th, 2020. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles when available.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. Do you like SAMURAI? Their early work was a little too grunge for my tastes, but when Blistering Love came out in '05, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. Johnny's been compared to Kerry Eurodyne, but I think Johnny has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '20, SAMURAI released this, A Cool Metal Fire, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "A Like Supreme", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the dangers of corporate colonialism, and the importance of fighting tyranny, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

This music is so good. The old music theory student in me has spent the last few minutes just trying to work out the tempo and time signature layers alone, like those two random 7/4 measures sprinkled into the otherwise consistent 4/4, then the two-layered tempo change of the breakdown at the end... Genius, compared to other video game music, in that this would stand up well on its own as a standalone punk album without the tie-in game.

This is badass, I've never had a song for a game get me so hyped. Just the amount of work going into the games supporting elements is insane. I do really hope the soundtrack has some metal in it though.

I really really like this music, I'm not a huge metal guy but I really like industrial and punk rock, like playlists used in Doom and Wolfenstein. Great work to everybody involved in this game
