I seriously don't understand why everyone wants to replace a V6 engine with a lawnmower engine, slap a turbo on it, and call it appealing.

I traded in my used 17 subaru limited outback for a 22 qx 60 autograph yesterday to relieve myself of 4 cyl noise. Love my used 60.

When I heard new engine I was thinking “Wow, they must have given it the 3.0 Turbo.”

When I saw it was a 2.0 Turbo my jaw dropped.

Yeah i definitely prefer the 2024 model just cuz of the v6. When we looked at it in the sensory and autograph we really liked it. And it was one of the last with a v6. It had a nice sound to it as well. Now I dont think we will be paying 70 grand for a 4 cylinder car. You get more out of a GH with the hybrid. I cant wait to see end of the year deals on 24’s 😀

2.0 4 cylinder = death knell for the QX60. Wow. Almost bought a 2024. No way I’d buy a 2025.

I AM SO MAD AT INFINITI FOR REPLACING THE ENGINE BECAUSE THE V6 WAS RELIABLE AND IT HAD A RELIABLE TRANSMISSION!

Good and thorough review. I really like the QX60 and have been considering getting one.

SUGGESTION…

When speaking of Horsepower & Torque specs, please include the RPM (engine speed) in which the power is attained in your review.

A 4-cylinder will typically generate its peak power at a higher RPM versus a V6 or V8.

A well tuned Turbo can generate greater low-end Torque on a 4-cylinder. (Or any engine for that matter)

I would be interested in The feel of the 4-Cylinder Turbo under acceleration versus the V6.

Well that made up my mind. 2024 model instead of 2025. I rather keep a V6 instead of a 4 cylinder turbo.

I love the back seats and the cargo area along with the compartments. I find the sound levels in the cabin pleasing and not unnatural. I would seriously go for this vehicle.

This is the only model keeping Infiniti afloat! The new Qx80 will probably give Infiniti some leverage as well!

I think this is the first step in revising the QX60s powertrain lineup. Next year will be the full refresh of the QX60 along with the debut of the QX65. I am hoping the QX65 brings a new, more powerful engine option that will then be added as an option to the QX60. Notice they didn't update the logo to the new logo, which will likely come with the full refresh. I think they were forced to put the VC-turbo in the 2025 because the 2025 Pathfinder should be getting refreshed this year and it is for sure switching to the VC-turbo as well.

I hope they're planning on putting the 3.5T from the QX80 in the RedSport model because a 4-cylinder standalone model is a big mistake. Heck, even the 3.0T will suffice.

🤔why the vc turbo though? The 3.0 twin turbo from the q50 & q60 would’ve been perfect!

Thank you guys so much!!! Autograph it is for me!!!

They knocked it out of the ballpark with the QX-80 then took a step back with the QX-60, WTF. This was on my short list but no longer.

Wife had a 2023 sensory Qx60 hated the car so many things she hated about it ….she traded it in for a 2025 Honda Pilot elite trim and loves it

Counterpoint: Does it really cost Infiniti (or any other manufacturer) to change the color of the wheel, the emblems, the roof rails, or the grille? The "blackout" package is $1, 900 of almost pure profit for Infiniti. Seems like a step down for the engine. What are you getting in the Infiniti that justifies the higher price over the Nissan Pathfinder? Purely an interior difference?

If there’s a silver lining to anything, Nissan just proved that the 2.0 VC Turbo engine can be bolted to a _real_ transmission and not a CVT.
