I used to listen to this song on repeat, but life happened and it's troubles and challenges led me astray, for a while I was in a really dark place, felt like I've lost my soul...today I remembered this absolute gem and once again it gave me a feeling I haven't felt in a while, a feeling I thought I've lost...it reminded me of who I really am. I found it weird that this was so reminiscent of Spanish music somehow... then I remembered that the Goths conquered and ruled Spain for 200 years! It's amazing how traces of their culture, much of which was lost to time and assimilated by the Latin majority, survives in modern Spanish music.
