Creating your sona! (Outdated go watch the new video ^^ )

Hey I'm new to creating content like this so I'm not really familiar with it, but I hope this is easy enough to follow and might help out some artists.

It took me 6 tries and half a year to create a persona I could relate to.
A lot of it is not just shapes, colour or Species but also the feeling of "you".
I suggest to anyone who is creating their persona right now, take a pen out and make a list: of things you like, personality traits that you or your friends love in you the most and how you would like to act if your shyness didn't affect you. It helped me a LOT during the creation and I wish you lukc, stranger ^-^

I just use my axolotl fursona. Their name is Pheobe (bc i always loved than name) and they're more like a mascot than actually me, despite me having a fully made pngtuber compatable with OBS that i made for them. They function kind of like how Ham does for Haminations, or a bit more accurately, Riggy for DannoDraws. They are an oc/mascot that appears visually more often than me. Or at least that's my plans. For now while i am getting everything into order i am simply posting silly animations somewhat irregularly

Names are really annoying to come up with. For about a year one of my main characters in my story didn’t even have a name I just referred to them as ‘the general’ or ‘the leader’ till I listened to the song Brutas and realized she acted a lot like the character in that song so I stole the name and thats her name now lmao

ive been switching to so much personas, i have like 12 accounts just for it, some I'm not even sure if i should keep

but this rly gave me an idea for my persona

tysm, this is helpful since i have a certain animal that matches apart of my name, and certain colors that go with it. I couldnt figure out how to make my favorite color match, but i finally found the right shade and the two colors are basically complementary (instead of red and green, i did pink and green), and this helped me figure out what body shape she has, it matches the animal better and looks more thought out (she is basically an oval)
