Things to watch out for with Irish Coffee's!!

1 - The Showoff Bartender!! He'll flambee the whiskey before putting it into the glass. He's just burnt off all the alcohol

2 - The Sneaky Bartender!! Ten of you order Irish Coffee's after coming in from a cold day. He'll put a shot of Whiskey into the cream. You'll all taste the whiskey whilst drinking it but it'll save him a packet!!

3 - The Lazy Bartender!! He couldn't be arsed trying to balance the cream on top so he throws in about 6 sugars to the coffee. That'll make the cream float much easier

The main bar in Shannon (SNN) Airport today, is still called Sheridans, i'm only less than an hour north in Galway city. The airport was a major transit/stopover point from the 1930s right up to the 1960s, from Europe to North famous person from that era passed through during the refuel. They sometimes put out the exhibition of all the pictures they have from that time period....just so fascinating. Shannon is the 'Port of Call' airport for flights in the Eastern Atlantic, whether going East or West, for emergency's of any kind. Standing outside it, on any day, all you can hear are the birds singing....just noise pollution
