Very Good Amp Co.: FUZZ & SLAP ECHO - Les Paul (P90s)/Princeton

Alrighty, here we have two typically classy offerings from Jon at Very Good Amp Co. The Slap Echo is exactly that: a dedicated 'slapback' delay with two settings - 40ms and 150ms - along with a blend control and boost switch and soft-switch true bypass. You can muck with the settings via internal trimmers but the stock settings sound great to me. FUZZ is a an old-school fuzz with a heap of control. Everything from woolly Fuzz Face through to snarling Maestro tones are in this little guy - all of them good.

Fuzz with a tape echo on a LP is not a combo I've heard before outside my own mucking around. Cheers Brett.

I have a Epiphone les paul special (2019) and with both a silicon fuzzface and a big muff, its so shrill it's horrid. I've obviously tried backing off the guitars volume and tone, the amps gain and volume, even lowering the P90's... just can't stop it from sounding like nails down a chalk board (high E especially) introducing any echo increases the problem. I'm open to anyone's suggestions.
