Damn I don't think people appreciate JLaw's defense nearly enough. Slides his feet and cuts off drives so well. You basically made him have to resort to post ups for almost every shot. Super impressive J!

Jlaw in terms of power and speed, more athletic (biomechanically speaking)... Oliver also fouls A LOT. In Fiba he can get away with a lot of that, especially if that's his style of play... In the NBA, that's way too much holding and handchecking. If he plays clean defense, simply not athletic enough to guard the top perimeter players in the world with NBA refs. If he was about 2-3 levels more athletic, he could definitely be a role player in the NBA (3 and D). With that being said, massive respect to both players, both unbelievable players.

All you are wrong, Oliver should keep the highest level of physicality possible until he is FORCED to change - by refs in whichever league he plays in. I like his aggressiveness, ultimately that tenacity is what will get him to the next level.

Only critique I have for Oliver, since his goal is the nba, he can play handsy but the has to get them off quicker so people don’t draw fouls on him. Fiba is a tougher game because they don’t call a lot of fouls that the nba does but if Oliver matches up against a Shai or a Harden he’ll need to be able to play handsy but get them off before they rip through his arm and draw fouls

Does oliver walk 90 percent of the time he goes right? I dont see this called often so im not sure its even a thing. I just remember when i was in highschool, ball needed to land before the pivot came off the floor.
