YES to your opening statement. I've seen the same thing. A very important topic. One of my business courses for healing/helping/creative types is all about this: a business model based on the quality of what you deliver, not the 'time.' One thing we constantly underestimate is all of the time 'behind the scenes', that isn't about what you get paid for a 1-hour gig--practice, travel, communications, bookkeeping, research, etc.

I'm talking into my mic icon it is evident therapy typos I will just say I was trying to say in the beginning that I have been working towards being a soloist not to be in a choir. My affinity for the language German Italian and I've sung Latin Bach b minor Mass I know the songs from that Pergolesi.Magnificent. and I have sung Latin christe Ellison, Kyrie Ellison. They come from the most beautiful religious music if you try and Google you will see it on YouTube

And as for this video, i dont even know if and how I can create a goal with singing... May be bcoz i have come long way in life where singing dream was crushed even before it was felt in the heart. Sad :( but reality I guess. :)

I left a comment a while ago I just want to say this person is woman really knows her stuff and she perceives herself and she is saying to perceive yourself as worth more than $200 a night bringing old equipment as she mentioned if you all of that quipment and if you are going to get $200 for the evening it's not worth it she's right if you see yourself getting $1, 000 for the evening there you've got a smart deal I have been a singer since I'm 15 years old I studied Opera I was told I would be that one in the million and I did I did pursue and pursue and pursue in Manhattan with the best vocal coaches around from juilliard the juilliard school of music though I didn't find them all that great many of them are overrated I have been with all of them I studied with someone from the met briefly and I wasn't too impressed with her but when I went for my Met audition my voice closed it was absolutely devastating. However I've come to realize and I can sing anywhere from wherever I am I'm doing going to be doing sending recordings that you said digital recordings to Disney to other opera companies and I'm going full steam ahead.

I am way way way advanced I have worked my entire life to be a soloist not within not inquire my voice will be heard I'm from Las Vegas Nevada and I'm going to go to recording studios and I'm going to make a great thing happen I am not afraid of anything or anyone and I can run rings around most people who sing opera because they cannot cross over as a rule they can't sing anything but Opera sometimes they just you know that it some try to do like Broadway look at Streisand for instance she's amazing but doing Broadway just isn't her in her forte she is brilliant with what she seems she has an incredible perfect pitch perfect pitch but for her to go into other genres and use your voice to that extent I'm not happy with the things when she sings Broadway friend since when she was sang Broadway for instance and try to sing somewhere from West side story it she did not have the intent the intent of that song it did not come across correctly I cannot criticize her for anything else that she's done she is absolutely amazing.
