The interiors in Iran are the best I have seen in the world. Shah Cheragh is a huge tomb for brothers Ahmad and Muhammad, son of Mūsá ibn Ja’far al-kāzin (the seventh Shiite Imam) and is an important pilgrimage site in the city of Shiraz. The tomb’s interiors are covered entirely in tiny mirrors placed with great precision creating unique patterns and shapes which reflect light and colours. While the dazzling effect might seem overwhelming, inside the tomb is extremely peaceful making it the perfect place to sit and reflect.
