Customer cancels Zomato order over Muslim delivery boy, company’s reply wins internet

I am baffled the stupidity of this entire thread. For those arguing what about halal food or that it's the customers choice, try and understand. What Zomato is saying is that you are free to order whatever food you like, eg beef, non-beef, pork, non-pork, etc. That's the customers prerogative, but they don't get a say in who handles their food and who doesn't. It's against the law to discriminate people on the basis of religion, especially in workplaces. Understand? To clarify, if the same person was asking to exclude a certain ingredient in their food, Zomato would have to comply. To make it more clear, it would be equally wrong if a Muslim customer would have asked for his food to be delivered by a Muslim only.

I did not support to the Amit shukla. But someone said zomato approves the reservation for NON HALAL food to those who believes or wants it. I don't know yet? I agree FOOD DO NOT HAVE RELIGION but Customer can DEMAND what he wants. they may be dumb or not well educated or may be educated . Zomato being in business of serving customers learn FIRST TO SERVE THE CUSTOMER. I don't mind who ever brings I do EAT food. Not everyone are like me. Stop painting everything into religious lines. Though this news was good journalism and Amit Shukla deserved the reply he got from Zomato, the showcasing of a tweet "Sanghis should order Goumutra" were in exceptionally bad taste.

"The Print" is not a mouthpiece against RSS or us Hindus who have been valuing Goumutra for ages.

Can Indian Media explain why Halal meet is NOT unconstitutional as per the Muslim literatures and websites it insists and requires muslim man and only muslims man to slaughter the meat and so as per our constitution of India, Halal meat should be banned in India as it specifically violates the constitution of India. Many countries in the world have banned Halal meet for this very reason and yet this practice continues in India as the media is not doing its job to highlight the wrong instead NDTV is always engaged in muslim appeasement . Meanwhile the police of India has not implemented loudspeaker ban on mosques, how can the police be biased to allow muslims loud speakers in mosques. The police job is to implement the supreme court order...police do your job. It is also unconstitutional that congress party and NDTV block hindus from posting on their videos and facebook posts, it is unconstitutional that you can post fake news but we cannot comment against the media posts as many congress paid media wont allow comments from public. All hindu meat eater should reject meat from companies offering halal meat and insist on zatka meat which is constitutionally the right approach in India. If NDTV does not ask for ban of Halal meat we will know it is paid by saudi arabia and hence it will not protect the constitution of India against Halal meat.

Actually I am not a Zomato fan. I also follow Kalam but Zomato food is degraded. They servers beef shame I had also stopped using Zomato
