Dr. Adarsh Gupta from Great Neck Center for Sleep, TMS & Mind Body Wellness discusses his experience with the MagVenture TMS Atlas™, the high-precision neuronavigation system for use with transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy.

By utilizing the patient’s unique MRI data set, Atlas™ provides very precise, individualized TMS coil positioning. The automated workflow significantly reduces treatment variability and allows for easy, highly consistent treatment repetition. As a clinic manager and clinician, you can feel confident that you will perform TMS treatments with consistent coil placement every time.

Because patients can follow a visual representation of their MRI combined with real-time pulsed Electro-Magnetic (EM) tracking of the treatment coil in relation to their head position, they are more involved in the process and may experience greater trust and confidence in the accuracy and consistency of treatments. MagVenture TMS Atlas™ uses a time-saving automated workflow including facial marker settings, individual brain target placement (such as DLPFC for depression treatment, and fully automatic 3D brain segmentation). After the MRI scan is imported, Atlas™ prepares the set-up for real-time navigation.
