Unfortunately I have a feeling this is more of an opportunity for A1U to get rid of a bunch of cargo that was supposed to arrive for retailers last xmas but was delayed in shipping ( Hence the reason for the event being near the ports to reduce shipping costs to get them to A1U's warehouses ) and now A1U either stores it and tries to sell it next xmas season or gets involved with some charity to sell them off at a still profitable price and also write off the difference between the sale pricing and MSRP by taking the write-off as a charitable deduction ( So A1U gets a much higher profit from the event than any donation they are actually making because they write them off at full MSRP instead of doing like HSN/QVC did selling the partycades at half off to clear their warehouse when their order arrived after Xmas. )

Funny because as of this writing, Arcade 1up has jacked the price of the X-Men cab all the way up to $993.00! This cab was $750. So disappointing. It’s still a rip off at $496 plus shipping (50% off). So much for a sale. I’ll wait until it drops to $300. And they only raised the price in preparation for the sale but afterwards it will drop back down to $750. Don’t believe the hype!
