In this presentation we'll go over the power of virtualization in building a safe, self-contained virtual computing environment to practice security operations in. Good talk, but open source does not always mean more difficult. Windows updates used to break the system, and they are less frequent, so if you were using an XP machine and it broke a driver, you'd usually have to wait for a patch. In Linux if an update breaks a component, instead of waiting for an update, users can try to patch it themselves / submit a commit to the Linux kernel. Don't get me started on mac's.

How can I use one interface of the Kali VM for downloading updates from the internet, and use another interface for the virtual network, completely isolated from my home network?
