Wait! Is that Lauren Bobert (& the GOP) saying that someone shouldn' t have the right to carry a gun? What? That's 87, 000 new IRS employees + employees of the IRS who pre-date this new 87, 000 who should not be allowed to carry guns. Is the NRA going to like losing that many gun sales? What happens if one of Bobert's family members--the ones who all had guns on her family's Christmas card--becomes an IRS employee? Uh oh.

All I can say about the GOP is they must really be messing around with their tax returns to be so afraid of the IRS.

I have been audited 3 times. 2 of 3 times everything checked out fine. The other time, I ended up with more money back from them. I can say that everyone that I dealt with at the IRS was very nice and helpful.
I am glad to hear the weight time had gone down.

I am a IRS agent. Though I don't like the word agent I am not armed or go around knocking on people. Yes I am part of the 87, 000 hired and yes I do answer the phones. Please disregard everything the politician say. At the end we are just trying to help people. And make sure everyone pays their fair share. Especially me that works with Spanish speaking tax payers so they can file returns like everyone and not get scammed.
