Bilal: A New Breed of Hero in theaters February 2, 2018 1,400 years ago, Bilal, a seven-year-old boy, with a dream of becoming a great warrior, is abducted into slavery with his sister and taken to a land far away from his home and thrown into a world where corruption and injustice rule all. Throughout his life he undergoes many hardships, through which he discovers an inner strength he did not realize he possessed. Through these experiences, Bilal comes to realize that if he is brave enough to raise his voice and choose his own path - everything becomes possible. It is through his courage, that he frees himself and ultimately his community; It is through the power of his voice and faith that his lifelong dream of freedom comes true. Bilal grows into a man who will inspire the world.

1. Islam was the 1st religion to teach equality! To teach its followers that no man is better than the other just because of his skin colour!

2. Bilal RA was a Habasha prince who was taken into slavery and sold in Mecca. Where became a slave to Umayyah ibn Khalaf (one of Quraysh's wealthiest and most prominent figures).

3. When Baila RA became Muslim he was tortured by his master but did not leave his faith. Instead he persisted and refused to unfollow his new faith.

4. When Allah told his prophet pbuh about the Muslim call for the prayer, the prophet pbuh asked Bilal (because of his beautiful voice) to call for the prayer.

5. Bilal was thus honoured with calling for the prayers until the prophet pbuh passed away, following which he couldn't anymore, and asked that someone else does it.

6. Bilal also managed to avenge his torture (by killing his fomrer master (Umayyah)) when the muslims faced Quraysh in the battle of Badr.

The bilal this movie is referring to is either misleading or not the original bilal .

Bilal ibn rabah ( the historical one ) was not saved by his courage but throughout the prophet Muhammed pbuh with the help of one of his companions and became the first " black " man to perform azhan ( prayer call ) above the kaaba.

The teachings of Islam condemns all sorts of racism, there no superiority of a race over another as the prophet pbuh said

I really hope, there's more of this kind of animation, but I don't want to disrespect the true beauty of this people but In Sha Allah, a movie that can capture people curiosity to study Islam is enough. but really, it's more awesome if Muslims can practice this deen and do it live action every day to show people the tawheed(oneness of God), to show the lesson and be an example for humanity.

The west are trying to sway the real truth about Bilal Ibn Rabah (ra)... They do not want the world to accept how Islam shaped mankind for good and what great influential individuals we have had since the birth of Islam.

This man was freed from slavery during the birth of Islam, a man who felt the warmth and sweetness of faith within his heart, a man who had great love for his creator, a man who had the honour to make the first ever call to prayer in Islam, the man who is honoured in Islam and a testament to all mankind are equal. We are not judged by race, colour and our status is given by our creator who is the only judge jury and executioner of all things in existence.

This movie is talking about chains... Is talking about slavery but does show how this great man Bilal Ibn Rabah (ra) is loved and rediscovered a purpose in life worth fighting for, brothers and sisters who accepted him and gave him a fitting role as an ambassador of islam.

His story is known to all Muslims, he is great man and an role model for many of us.

Please honour him by reading real scriptures and finding the truth before these animations destroy his legacy.
