Hey, this guide goes into depth on the best 4 Star from the new selector in Honkai: Star Rail's 2.1 update. I go through every 4 star that you can pick one by one and determine why you might want to pick them or avoid them, for example Gallagher working with the brand new Acheron or if using Misha as an alternative to Jingliu in Memory of Chaos. I'll crawl all the way for Xueyi, got only one on Ruan Mei's banner, and will do anything to E6 her. Hoping she'll rerun on Aventurine's banner because she does follow up attacks

I really want to e6 xueyi and try her then because the showcase vids I see are so awesome. Also her kit, the ult and the character just looks so cool. I don't have gallagher yet tho (even tho I pulled like 90 times already) so I'll see if I don't get him first in the next set of pulls

Picked Gallagher, mine was at E1 after dancing a dangerous dance with a guarantee on Acheron's banner, E2 is pretty great for me right now, although I would like to E6 him at some point, as for the other characters I either didn't use or thier eidolons didn't particularly entice me, although finally getting my Yukong to E6 would've been nice (but again, I don't use her)

I picked Gui cause I just got Acheron E0S1 but didn’t have a second good nihility slot yet and I am NOT building Sampo. The team already feels so much better even though she’s barely built! (She was also one of the few 4*s I was missing)

With how content is structured and the fact that non type advantage damage is almost impossible to 3 star. I would say I wouldn’t intend to play any one comp or style. Pick who you don’t have, or will enable you to hurt certain weaknesses.

Like guinaifen, if you’ve got nothing to hurt fire weakness get her. Build a diverse roster so you can clear moc weekly

Got Gallagher E1 from Acheron's banner so his E2 feels like a very natural choice. Need to finally do 2.1 story first though, lol
