A new video of the Wagner mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, reportedly filmed just days before his death, shows him concerned over his security.
In the video, he says that he is okay, despite talk of being "wiped out" and other speculation.
He also said he was in Africa and that it was the weekend in the second half of August hinting that the video may have been recorded on August 19th or 20th.
Prigozhin was killed on August 23rd in a plane crash.
The crash came two months after Prigozhin led a failed mutiny against the Russian army's top brass.
The Kremlin has rejected any involvement in the crash.
Prigozhin was buried in a private funeral at a ceremony in his hometown of Saint Petersburg on Tuesday.
