yall these from Target are lowkey not great quality after some time, they become VERY wobbly ):
ive had mine since 2021 and they didnt hold up even within the year, they hanging on by a threaadddd
But im sure the top part will help stabilize them! and if she isnt planning on moving anytime soon haha

Oh my gosh I made the exact same setup last year 🤣🤣 super massive sewing and drafting table for cheap! I actually used four tabletops from ikea and heavy duty industrial Velcro to hold it together 🤗🕺🏻 it’s seamless too!

Another way you can make a sewing table with storage is going to IKEA and getting some Kallax bookshelves or get the kallax bookshelf with a desk and put a small bookshelf there. This is just for anyone who wants to know.😁

I love DIY to make affordable art supplies, I made my own light box (with help from my grandad bc I couldn't do certain parts bc Im ina wheelchair) and it has lasted me 5 years and still works perfectly

TIP FOR LIFTING. Tilt whatever heavy box, grab the bottom with you dominant hand and pull up with you LEGS, dig your heels into the ground and brace your core. 50-60lbs will feel like 20lbs. Keep it close to your body too cause it’s equalizes the weight and is easier to carry ❤

This is exactly what I did! I bought a bunch of cube units to make a four sided storage area then put plywood on top.

My craft table is Ikea's Nordern gate-leg table. It has 6 drawers, and it folds up very compactly, but opens into a huge cutting table for my sewing. I keep my other craft supplies in two Ikea 9-drawer Alex storage units.

I planned to do the same thing with the exact same shelving, and then got given a sewing table...so now I have the bookshelves lining my wall, haha.

Itll be fine as long as you never move. We got those to use as an entertainment center, and they work great but they lose serious structural integrity in transport.

I did something similar with my bed because the new place I moved to doesn't have a lot of storage I got the two by threes and I put them all along the edge of my bed and basically made them a bed frame. So much storage for all of my yarn LOL
