PMN Katy Perry Sued Over Dark Horse

Katy Perry’s hit song “Dark Horse” is found guilty of copyright infringement from a Christian rap song from 2009. The jury has decided that the 2013 hit shares very similar riffs to the Christian rap song. When asked about the accusations, the coauthors of “Dark Horse” have stated that the riffs used are very basic that almost every musician use in writing music. In the time of the verdict, Katy Perry was not in court and may be faced to pay a hefty fine.
