This is incomplete information and OTTP. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has multiple cities. Mumbai & Navi Mumbai are two of many cities in the MMR. She did not show a map of Navi Mumbai but she showed a map of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. What she failed to mention is: Both Mumbai city & Navi Mumbai city have the same calling code and STD code (+022).

Mumbai City is an island (Suburban & South Mumbai) and was expanded by forming a satellite city Navi Mumbai (created from parts of Thane District & Raigad District) across the Arabian sea creek. (Bombay & New Bombay became Mumbai & Navi Mumbai after the name change in 1996). The MMR has multiple municipal corporations, cities and towns in its region: Mumbai city, Navi Mumbai, Thane city, Panvel city, Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation, Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation, Ambernath, Badlapur are some of the many cities and towns in the MMR. Fun fact: Uran in the west, Panvel in the south, Airoli and Vashi in the north, Taloja in the east..all are within Navi Mumbai limits.

Mumbai is a great city ..
I used to first hate it but afrer staying there at my relatives places for more then 5 time's (8days- 3days- 8days-1month 8 days) almost 2 months
I got a great experience over there ..
Meet new people, traveled new places..
