If who's selling you hCG says you have 3 types of fat, that's an indication they don't know why it works. They may know it works, but thats about it.

I am so happy to be able to follow you on here now and to pass all your valuable information along to others! HCG and the tools that I have learned over the past 10 months have certainly helped me loose 103 lbs... I love the book! So much more to learn and understand! Much love and thanks!

Thank goodness for you! I am so relieved to see that there is a modern version of the protocol.

He is so awesome! He's got a little crazy in him (like myself). I love his vigor and excitement for the protocol. He travels the country and trains doctors on how to impliment the hCG protocol in their practice. What a GREAT person he is. Feel free to share whatever you'd like! Thanks again for the support and sharing my info. Right now my only marketing is through word of mouth so I'm so grateful for your confidence in what I've written. THANK YOU!!!

@WeightLossApocalypse Wow...that is amazing. I just ordered the Omron hand held BF monitor...I wasn't sure how accurate my scale is. I am on HHcg and have been this whole time. I have used the same brand...never changed...and was NEVER hungry the entire time...until recently...now I know why. It really is a dream come true. Now with your book I have the tools to be successful for life. I ordered a book about Leptin...thanks to you... to learn even more :-)
God Bless

This is deffinitly your last and final round. So happy you like the book. It has been a long project and to be honest, I'm happy it's done and in the hands of people that can use it! I did see your post and your hypothesis is correct! The less fat you have, the less leptin you have, which reduces the fuel you get from fat. Thank you for sharing and congratulations on all of your incredible success and if you kicked butt in maintenance. You'll kick butt in maintenance for life!

We've collected RER for hundreds ofpatients and compared their results from before to after their protocols. The statistical analysis is included in chapter 18 of Weight-Loss Apocalypse. What's even more incredible, is that when followed precisely, how much fat the participant will lose is predictable. This makes sense because the body will only use fuel at the rate it is demanded, assuming hormones are stable to allow fat to be used at the rate it is needed. No doubt, hCG prevents starvation.

I weighed 204 when I started. I am 5'5" so I think I am at the end. I started to increase my protein because I felt hungry and I was craving protein. (vlogged about it on 1/6- My HHcg#79- I show your book but hadn't read it yet...forgive me if any info I discuss was wrong) Now I understand why having just read your book. Now I understand what I knew before but could never properly explain...only having P & I to go by. Thank you again for this book...it has helped and WILL help me tremendously!!

Im finding that everyone I come across that goes through a clinic has no idea even what pounds and inches is. They are given a food list and a shot (wrong doses even) and told to go. They have no clue about protocol other than a food list that is modified and to many calories and then wonder why they struggle. It upsets me to see people getting ripped off by so called professional doctors

I totally agree. I am at the end...I have. apx. 5 or 6 lbs left...of course I really don't know the exact #. I'm on VLCD 17...and last week I just started to increase my cals in protein to about 585-600 cals. It has made a world of difference. Especially because I need to get to Day 23 full days of Hcg. My body fat (according to my scale...not sure how accurate :-/ ) is down to 27.6 lbs or 22.2 %. I weigh 125 today (1/18/12) I started exactly one year ago (1/18/11) and have lost 79 Lbs. Cont.>>

Don't feel responsible. I tell every patient that I am not responsible for their decisions and by holding them accountable to help themselves, they will develop the confidence they need to believe they are capable alone. I'm just a motivator and can give an outside perspective!I know how you feel though, but in the end, their issues with food and body image are theirs to figure out. You just give them compassion for their personal struggle that is unique to them! Thanks again!

@WeightLossApocalypse BTW...I just wanted you to know...I used Dr. Mayer Eisenstein's Family Practice in 1994 to have a home birth. My son was 10 lbs 5 ozs...it was quite an experience :-) I have never personally met him...but I think he's an amazing man. I was so happy to see he wrote the forward to your book. Thanks again for all you've done. I subbed your channel so I can watch you vlogs and pass them along to my family and friends :-)

@tlcangel64 It's the cosumer driven hcg diet industry that I think is so bad. I do believe there is so much research that could be done and I do believe there is a place for hhcg, as long as we can prove it stimulates leptin.

Hunger for most in our country is defined by desire, and if you take the average human in America, we believe we need to eat (without hunger) all the time. Once again, I encourage as much data collection as possible, and appreciate any observations that differentiates symptoms of starvation with and without hCG. Most importantly, their should be zero bias. Laboratory research is more convincing.

@WeightLossApocalypse Thank you for the reply...Your book is amazing. I just posted a link to it on my FB page for my family and friends to get. I have been helping them and I truly believe they need to read it. I have tried to stress the importance of NOT CHEATING and the BREAKS...some have not. Now that I understand what can happen to them (some have gained back weight) I NEED them to read your book. I feel so responsible if they gain :-/

but how can you test if it stimulates leptin?

Thank you for the link. Based on how incredible low-dose hCG works to stimulate leptin, these observations are not surprising. However, using weight is very insufficient to exlain hCG effectivness to prevent starvation. To make a relevant scientific comparison, this data would need to be compared to metabolic rates (kcal/lb/day) to see if energy expended during the process was increased compared to before the tests, and compared between the groups.

Weight lost is just a miniscule peice of information compared to the micro-cellular biology we need to gain scientific credability. I am happy to see any evidence that supports low dose hCG as a fatty-acid synthase inhibitor. Based on the data that describes hormonal problems associated with too much leptin, eating more would not make hormonal sense for a most of the Americal population that has morbid obesity.

I have experienced this first hand. The clinic where I purchased my HCG prescribes a 1000 calorie low GI diet with no load days!!! I knew better. Took my HCG and ran. It was clear he wanted to sell more hormone and terribly uninformed. He even offers "fat loss shots" in addition to HCG. If HCG works why would these shots even be necessary, right?
