My Zhiyun Smooth Q gimbal was unbalanced, this is how I balance/calibrate the gimbal.

I’m at the calibrating part but haven’t gotten the first green light in the past 10 minutes

..just unboxed mine and the gimbal is vibrating or phone is flopping every direction everywhere . The screen even cracked from hitting the top part of handle :/

does it have a spin lock thing like the dji osmo mobile 2 to prevent the internal wires from entangling up?

I had the same issue, after I dropped it from 10 feet with my iphone attached to it. Also the imbalance can be caused if the gimbal has not been used for some time (this bit of info is from the zhi yun website). Someone on twitter contacted the company about his imbalance and they advised him to calibrate the gimbal. Only if this does not fix anything you need to send it for repairs. I will be calibrating mine again soon, but to all those having a problem, calibration can be tricky. It's not always easy to get the suggested positions from the app. Just try again until you get it right.
