How to use the Canon eyepiece cover ...The Canon Way!!!!

There are times you will need to use the eyepiece cover attached to the camera strap. Otherwise your phots will come out really dark.

I read the instructions in my 'For Dummies' book, but there was no picture. It just says, 'first remove the rubber eyecup... by sliding it up and out of the groove that holds it in place.' Didn't say pinch it and when I saw it moving, I thought I was breaking the viewfinder because I understood that only the soft rubber should move, not the whole plastic piece. Thanks for the video!

Hi, great video! I have a question: my eyepiece keeps falling off although it appears to be undamaged. I inspected the viewfinder base on the camera body to see if a part fell off but I can't find a diagram anywhere to compare mine to. Is there supposed to be a piece on the viewfinder itself that holds the eyepiece there? If not, perhaps the tabs on my eyepiece have just bent too much.
