Kia XCEED 2020 | First drive review - A crossover too far?

Kia is just launching the XCeed and I went to France for a drive around the coast. The new Cross over from Kia is based on the CEED but with a lot of visual changes.

I haven't been a fan of crossovers but today I test drove one of these and it was brilliant so I've traded my Avensis in for it, bought the Xceed 4 1.5 Petrol 158bhp manual in black paint, it's pretty quick, comfortable and quiet, the equipment level is insane too, it's a great car, forget about the badge people and test drive one

One of the best car designs in quite some time. All round success. They need to be more bold and elegant with the interior though.

Should've gone for a dip Bob! The water's the temperature of a bath at the moment. No need for a towel, you air dry in minutes!

Beautiful "looking" car Bob. Of all the vehicles at Frankfurt MS, this was the 'prettiest' and wasn't even inside the main auditorium...'twas outside in a glass box! If it ever comes in a "Cross Country 4x4" guise, I'd have it but not as it is...it's just a Kia!

The cost of a Sportage for the size of a Ceed. No bigger than a Ceed, no extra practicality, only the tiniest bit taller.. how exactly is this a crossover? Looks nice but the price is well off the mark.

Well, I got no information about the car at all. How does it ride? How is the suspension? How does it pull? Do you have enough space in the back seat? No comments at all, just telling what we can already see. 10 minutes video and almost no valuable information :(

Isnt this a bit close to the stonic? There seems to be a lot of blurred lines inthe kia range.

Two side air condition ??? Please note in your video showed XCeed is two side automatic climate control!!! It is big difference.

Are Kia trying to take sales from Mercedes?
The xceed looks very much like a GLA and the new Proceed looks very much like a CLA shooting brake.
