I don't want things to stay the way they are, agh...the problem is that crime has changed, used to it was simple shoplifting, someone pocketing something they wanted or needed...now it's organized retail thefts and the organizers are working the law in their favor. Justice should be fair but criminals aren't playing Nice and the law shouldn't be Nice to them...consequences need to be served

What ever Gavin is against I'm for. Sounds like a yes vote here.

These videos were very helpful except for prop 34. That video left me confused.

Gonna have to say no since they lumped possession and theft together. Theft is unacceptable but possesion is a more complicated issue

I'm voting right now and while I believe in some leniency. The Measure also states "if defendant has two priors, then harsher punishment will be imposed." I think this video misses that aspect. People have become to bold now.

My hope on a yes vote will make people think twice about stealing and drugs.

Thank you, Calmaters, for doing these informative video explanations. My family and I sit around the table and go through all the props and make our informative decisions. 👍🏼

Im 100% going yes, but here's the thing, im sure the majority of who are stealing are minors. They know they can't get in prison, so how will it really affect drug/crime rate's?

This should be an automatic YES for anyone who values safety and decency regardless of political party.

This is really not a particularly bad bill. It basically turns being caught a third time into a federal charge if i understand it correctly. This isn't going after new offenders who can be rehabilitated.

I am really on the fence with this one... i just dont know if this is the proper solution. 3 strikes backfired. I think this will too. Who has a real solution?

People are thrilled to spend hundreds of millions making sure somebody who stole an apple can never get a job again but will freak out if you suggest maybe poor people shouldn't have to pay so much for healthcare.
