Webinar Launch for EIPM 19TH Oct 2016

AFIDEP and FHI360, as part of the Strengthening Capacity to Use Research Evidence in Health Policy (SECURE Health) programme launched an Evidence-Informed Policy-Making (EIPM) training curriculum on Wednesday 19th October 2016. The webinar presented here gives a brief overview of the lessons learnt on the development of the curriculum and training lessons from two countries Kenya and Malawi. The EIPM training curriculum responds to the challenge of weak capacity among decision-makers to find and use evidence in decision-making.The course aims to strengthen the technical capacity of mid-level policymakers in the health sector in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in accessing, appraising, interpreting, synthesizing, and utilizing research evidence in decision-making.
