Ghost story from Daisy House. Taken from their brand new album,: "Western Man". available at:

Met a ghost by a hollow tree
walking down the road at a quarter past 3
moon shone bright and he said to me
"sir my story must be told...
She was known all around the town
as the girl who could talk the little birds down
leave no footprints on the ground
lived out on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road...

pulling petals from a daisy's face
i made up my mind to go find her place
and one drunk morning i crushed that flower
as the rooster crowed on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road

6 months later she gave birth to a thing
that she buried i'm told in a shallow hole
with a black tornado crawling by
she laid down to die on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road

Then in my dreams she began to appear
and wasn't that her voice i'd hear
crawling and scratchin all around my door
till i hung my load on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road
out on yellow moon road...

Awesome!! I time traveled back to 1968! The Byrds would be all over this one.

Underlying riff, and the organ sound, reminds me of "Your Mind Is Reeling" by Ultimate Spinach though here the Western noir element is clearly very different....Like
