I feel like Kate and Ryan should be showing the kid Ghibli films as well. They are better than Disney movies imo but really that’s secondary to the better lessons and themes that even as a kid I picked up on and greatly shaped my view of the world and my values. And as a kid I always enjoyed Ghibli films more as well although I also get the love for Disney, especially as a kid. I don’t mean to sound like I’m backseat parenting in anyway, those movies just mean a lot to me and I think this next generation should also experience them growing up like I did.
