notes:
- this documented version of this great show has been provided by an anonymous source
- the original sound has not been altered in any form

- the first track had nasty level fluctuations, they got corrected as good as possible
- occasional other level fluctuations had been corrected
- the general volume of the show has been adjusted to a well balanced level
- occasional pops, clicks and tape anomalies had been removed
- the cuts between some of the songs had been softened for smooth transitions

10 months after Altamont the airplane is still trying the peace and love approach. They were always for real and never even tried to write 'hits', although they had a few anyway.
What a band.

Righteous band. Jack got me in free to the Fillmore East twice when I was poor. Us kids were hanging outside the ticket line as people were going in and Jack said " Come on kid, come in with me." Same with Bobby of the Dead. I love those people.

Technical perfection isn't always possible when you are tripling balls! However, there is an honesty there that I find refreshing.

Just missed them, I got on the bus in 1972. Saw the first tour of the Jefferson Starship in Philly. Marshall Tucker opened, we never heard of them, JS came out with a awesome opening . Blowing against the empire. We were lifted onto the spaceship. Tripping balls, Papa John's fiddle was smokin'.

This is terrific, as good quality as you can expect and they all sound up for Was there ever a better bass player than JC he played it using controlled feedback, I'm thinking A Child is coming from Blows. What a version of Pooneil.... X

One of the first vinyl albums ever, My sister gave me " Crown of Creation " for Christmas in 1968, it seemed strange at 12 years old but very cool & provacitve .

This is great. My favorite singer, Grace Slick. Bummed though that 'Eskimo Blue Day' isn't included in this show. Oh well, excellent show and sound quality. Grace wasn't just a singer though, she was an exceptional Vocal Artist. And nobody had held a candle even near her since.

Got to see them at the Hollywood Bowl in the summer of '72, nuthin' like it! No female voice in rock had or has the commanding voice that Grace Slick had ... what we need now - 'Blows Against the Empire!'❤
