I miss living across the street from Galco's. I used to bring friends, family, new visitors from all over the world there. It's such a fun thing to make your own recipe... the Candy bar is fun too... seeing HELLA OLD SCHOOL candy u see NO WHERE ELSE. Also their Deli sandwiches are BANGIN!!!!

Nice to see Galco's is making the news. Glad Mr. Nese is still around and working. I used to go there quite often but haven't been recently. The sandwiches are excellent also. Great place.

My dad used to take us here in 1980’s as kids after church or AYSO soccer games to get their Italian sandwiches. It wasn’t a soda pop shop then, but the interior looks exactly the same today.

The Jamaican ginger beer and Mexican cola are my fav sodas there!

I found Galco's years ago while watching Huell Howser and drove there from Ontario specifically to buy different cream sodas for my wife. I left with half a dozen different ones and not one was A&W. She was not disappointed.

Growing up in HLP and especially on Milwaukee and meridian. My nephew and I would stop by there after school for a pastrami sandwich with a pop. I’m so happy and glad to see Galcos is still around. Huell Howser made an episode there back in the days.

Whether a tourist or local, please visit and buy things. It will be sad if this place where to close. There's a little section of outdoor seating potential...I hope they use it. Sandwiches and soda pop...or maybe a collabo with a corn dog/french fries start-up/pop-up.

I love Galco's. It's not only the best place for soda, but the only place I know of where you can get legacy candy like Bit O' Honey. It's such a great place. :)

Another reason why Los Angeles is the greatest city on earth, even with the problems we have. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

What a cool place. I wished I lived in the area you try all these flavors of syrups he has. I guess my soda stream will have to do.

I love this place. I stock up every time I’m in town. I wish we had a New York equivalent.
