President Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway defends Trump’s executive orders on immigration on TODAY, saying it’s “high time” the U.S. spend money protecting its own borders. She also defends Trump’s call for an investigation into voter fraud and pushes back about allegations that Trump’s daughter Tiffany is registered to vote in two states. “Why not have an investigation?” she tells Matt Lauer.

"One person, one vote"? Donald admitted in his first interview that the actual vote doesn't matter as long as you win the Electoral College vote. He also stated this was the reason why he didn't campaign in certain states, and if he did he would have won those as well.

The Presidency is the only seat where you can have the popular vote and still lose the election. Maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that within a true democracy, the majority vote wins when attempting to decide on something. However, this applies to everything else except the office of the Presidency. Local level? Majority vote. State level? Majority vote. Hypothetical situation: Can you imagine how it would look during a criminal court case if there was some "other" type of process to a jury's majority vote? It wouldn't make sense. Some who are actually guilty would go free, and some who are actually innocent would be imprisoned.

Some may think that this situation is a far-reaching one. Maybe. Maybe not. However, it's the principle that's the importance here.
