Should Dijonai Carrington Face SUSPENSION For Her DIRTY PLAY On Caitlin Clark In Game 1?

Considering everything that's gone on in the WNBA this year, and specifically with Dijonai Carrington, it's hard to believe this play against Caitlin Clark wasn't purposeful with an intent to injure the Indiana Fever star. Let's talk about it!

This is assault with the intent to injure. Carrington should be suspended for the rest of the season, she could've blinded Clark. The fact that people defend this is crazy to me. I gave Carrington the benefit of the doubt during the game, saying that she might've not intended it, but sure didn't care where her hand ended up, but this is blatant. Yes, Carrington has intentionally gone after Clark in every game they have played against each other, yet nothing has been done. Not even a foul called on Carrington. It was a flagrant foul and a technical should have been called for Carrington bad mouthing the refs wanting a foul called on Clark.

It's premeditated assault aiming to injure or take out Caitlin from the game parading as an innocent basketball play. I'm sick of the players, coaches, refs, gm's, owners and the WNBA for allowing this and I won't be watching anything without Caitlin in it. These other teams/players don't have the ability to win without dirty play.

I have watched basketball for fifty years. played as well. Never have I see a player targeted and have it called a "basketball play." This is sickening. The fingernail extensions need to be removed as dangerous. Even a cat retracts nails when there is no danger. The league needs to do better. Considering all the abuse CC has endured throughout the season without any repercussions, I think the WNBA will ignore this as well. CC doesn't deserve any of this crap.
