Absolutely love your 64, the board is soooo dark! But, I gotta say the neck pickup on the "new" 68 is pretty special.

I’m liking the Red ‘68 a lot. It has more tubular neck pickup sound which is what i like. I was really impressed with the Yngwie. Great tones for noiseless. It still sounds very stratty.

I’d love a video which focuses on blues phrasing, not in terms of chord tones and arpeggios but more so with how to better create phrases using passing tones like 2nds, 4ths, 6ths etc. I know, I should just listen to BB King.

Love all of this. Curious Jeff, and sorry if I missed it. What size/type of picks do you use with strats ?

I wish you would describe your software setup that allows you to play along with backing tracks, mixing with guitar inside the computer.  

Also, it's the things you say as casual asides that are often the most valuable. The tip to roll of the volume knob just slightly is right on the money. So many guys just park it on 10, but often the best tone is just south of that.

Totally agree bringing a personal guitar to Namm, without plans to work is silly. Way too much trouble for nothing. Plus, good luck enjoying yourself with worrying about your guitar full time.

you clearly love your strats used to have one just like the first one in the early 70s...must have been one of those strats from the late Leo days going over to early cbs years....didn't realize back then what had gone on with Leo selling up...oh well...i ended painting it a diffent colour and selling all i've got is a mexican one...modified guess what...i just bought a Gibson SG 61 "faded" one....seems quite good so far...but i gues my prs's are the better player and sounding guitars....anyways...stay safe cheers...
