I use washi tape for my paintings, to cover the edges on my water color paintings in place of regular masking tape because washi tape usually doesn't tear my paper or mess up the papers cell structure around the edges with fuzzies

its awesome for my gouache paintings. Got some with an even grit pattern so I can make sure I stick the tape evenly around all edges without measurement. Also never ripped paper for me

Used this a lot in college to get me to focus on my notes. I have ADHD so having decorated notes helped me focus on them

I did not realise when my washy tape collection grew to the point now, and it always makes me so happy to see all the designs I have. The sad part is when I run out of a design, which is fast cuase I use em for painting 😅😊

I remember as a little kid in my grandparents painters store they had washitape at the counter - that was in the 90s in Germany.

My husband and I like to mail out letters and cards. Washi tape is one of my favorite ways to zhuzh up the envelope to make sure the edges don't lift 😊
