J.S.Bach “Sarabande” BWV 995 Performed by Tamay Yıldız

Born in Antalya/2007, Tamay Yıldız started playing the classical guitar at the age of 9.

In 2017, he was accepted to the Department of Guitar of Mersin University State Conservatory as a full-time student.

Tamay Yıldız plays pieces and etudes from the composers of various eras.

In 2018, he made masterclasses with Hale Birgül Akçakmak, Ilgaz Benekay and Erdem Sökmen in Ankara Bilkent University Guitar Meeting.

Subsequently, in 2019, he participated in the 6th International Istanbul Guitar Festival held in Istanbul and had the masterclasses with Cem Küçümen, Kerim Altınors, and Bekir Kucukay.

In 2019, he had masterclasses with Fatih Akbulut and Mehmet Gürgün at Ankara Bilkent University Guitar Meeting.

In September/2019 he was accepted to Ayvalık International Music Academy (AIMA) and had the opportunity to do a one week workshop with famous guitarist Elena Papandreou.

Tamay Yıldız still continues his education at Mersin University State Conservatory in 7th grade at primary school in the guitar class of Instructor Can Erdogan.
