3D Printing the Largest Polymer Boat Ever

Ingersoll MasterPrint, the world’s largest polymer 3D printer, is so big that it can produce objects up to 100 feet long.

The University of Maine demonstrated its capabilities by showing off a 25-foot, 5,000-pound patrol boat that was printed at the UMaine Advanced Structures and Composites Center.

This is an appreciation post highlighting an additive manufacturing process that you might not have seen before.

If you can afford a printer that big. You can afford to buy your own boat. Probably cost more just in pla then it would to buy one
