No disrespect to Indian heritage and culture, but candles can also be harmful. Saying there’s chemicals in stuff, I feel like it is misleading. Everything is chemical. There are some chemicals which are harmful. Many chemicals are only lethal in high doses. While it’s wise to not be breathing in large amounts of toxic chemicals, I think incense is likely quite similar to candles.

The simple answer is make your own candles with plant wax and essential oils also incense with natural herbs spices and resins.
Peace and love ❤️

All I burn are Frankincense and Myrrh, as they're natural resins, and just love the smells. I am Catholic, and burn them at my Home Altar.

You can get 100% natural incense.... Still keep the windows and doors open though.

Use your spice/herb cabinet and make your own cones. That what I just started doing. It's easy, a good hobby and rewarding. Even when you mess up because it's learning.

Resins exist with the tree to protect it from bacteria and infection. Think of it like white blood cells for the tree.

The incenses that are commercially available are mostly not made to very high standards . The fragrances are not natural, as in they do not derive from plant sorces, and the base material is poor quality , often just a mixture of charcoal and generic wood powder . However, in the case of a few makers of Indian style incense, they DO use the old "masala" method, which is a mixture of powdered sandalwood and resins such as benzoin, dammar, frankincense etc . which has been further scented by being mixed with natural essential oils, absolutes and attars . These incense sticks are a world away from synthetic, poorly made "incense", most of which I wouldn't use in my own home, for various reasons, the least of which is that it just doesn't smell pleasant . There are at least three vendors online who sell top quality, natural, masala type incense sticks, who are easily found by searching " natural incense sticks " .

What about charcoal free incense made from flowers. That's the kind I buy now. Is it safe?

I believe the resins that come out of the trees purify the air and we take it it should be left there it also I believe protects the trees from diseases.

I was under the curse of a frenemy when he made a prayer over my head. My consciousness changed after he prayed over my life over my head, so how do I fix a broken ritual for a love spell removal?

It doesn't matter if it's natural or artificial, burning things and breathing them in is bad regardless, the chemicals used in cheap incense aren't that much detrimental to your health than the natural more expensive incenses, burnt organic matter will always be carcinogenic.

This guy is a certified yapper. He says a lot of stuff, but it's not bound by basic alchemical knowledge. If burning it is harmful, then why? What chemicals are we to specifically avoid? Poison is dependant on the dose, this goes for every substance on Earth. Rat poison can even be eaten daily as long as you don't go over a dangerous threshold, so I doubt incense is bad for you unless you get some specifically bad ones from China and you already have something wrong with your lungs. Standing over the incense and inhaling it would obviously be bad, but this video has not convinced me it is harmful otherwise.
