11' Samsung Comparison: Galaxy Tab S9 vs S9 FE vs S8 vs S6 Lite

Which 11-inch or 10-inch Samsung tablet should you get? Today we compare the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S8, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. While the performance of the four is very different and one has an AMOLED screen, they can also be quite similar. For instance, all come with an S Pen and Samsung Notes and all are running the same Android 13 at the moment.

I've had my S6 Lite (the original w/ Exynos) since March 2021. I am upgrading to the S8 because it's a little too laggy for my schoolwork, but it's honestly still a solid device years later. I can only imagine it's better with the Snapdragon.

Great comparisons. I traded-in my wife's S6 Lite (2020) for an S9 FE a couple of weeks ago. Ordinarily I would have considered the S8 but she only wants a tablet for SM, YouTube, and skyping. So, with a trade-in of $250, free cover, and a $60 coupon I needed to use, it was a steal.

Never used a flagship tablet, but I have been using the Tab s6 Lite for 3 years taking notes for study and work, watching YouTube, meetings, some Excel things here and there, and I have never really had an issue with anything. I love it

I went for the s9+, with the samsung xmas cashback offer in the uk and the free 12 months of disney+ (which is something weve been paying £12 a month for over a year now), it worked out to £690 in total.
I love the ip68 rating because i love watching youtube or a movie in the bath and i dont have to worry if the tablet would fall in the water.

The Samsung S8 would be the best bet considering price you get 120 hertz you get the better sound you get better performance the waterproofing is not essential

I traded in a s6lite and got 250 dollars towards a s9fe (so 199 only). I'm happy with it. Great screen and it is decently fast for what i use it for. Multi-tasking with two apps works great too.

Honestly the S6 lite is the best offer.. But for connecting an external display, this is the only thing that might be an issue or deal breaker for me..

The S8 seems like the better option.. But since the S9 FE is cheaper.. It could be the next best options

Amazing how the S9 and S8 are now both about $600. The 12" FE+ Plus is $400.

But how does the S8/S9 (SnapDragon) compare against the S9 FE+ plus (Exynos 1380) in terms of web-browsing and using as a 2nd monitor to a PC? I don't want to connect an external monitor to the tablet.. but I do want to use the tablet as a 2nd monitor to my PC!

What about the S7? I am just afraid in a short term the S6 Lite won't have updates and also 64gb of ROM are not that much..Maybe the S7 could be a good compromise between s6 and s8, also considering the price?

s8 for 700 euros or s9 fe for 450? i want for drawing and netflix usage and maybe 1 or 2 games once in a while

The s6 oled is still going really well. Wish they made the software work better with windows (2nd display). Other than that am kind of curious about the colour eink tablets lately (boox in particular) instead of going the s9amoled.
