While my husband and I were going through a rough patch I bawled my eyes out to this song. I used to blame my parents for not making things work. I used to blame them for not choosing to love eachother, but then experiencing my own rough patch in marriage I realized not everyone can continue to love when the person you love keeps hurting you. This song put it into words perfectly.
(Btw my husband and I are fine and very happy now ☺️)

Fun fact: she was a songwriter for some big hits before she wrote a song that was so personal she couldn’t give it away.

My friends don’t get why I listen to Sasha. She’s so underrated, and my friends won’t appreciate her till she goes mainstream. It’s not fair. Keep climbing high Sasha. Your gonna do great things.

The Late Show is getting really good at booking these little musical moments. Whoever is making this happen needs an award, and a raise.

This reminds me what happened when I was a kid. There were many times I had to lie down on my bed while listening to my parents yelled at each other and broke things downstairs.

I used to shut my door
While my mother scream in the kitchen
Turn the music up
Get high And try not to listen
To Every little fight
'cause neither one was right

I swore I'd never be like them
But I was just a kid back then

The older that I get, the more that I see
My parents aren't heroes, they're just like me
But loving it's hard, it doesn't always work
U just try ur best, not to get hurt
I used to be mad, bu now I know
Sometimes it's better to let someone go
It just had't hit me yet, the older I get

<3😭

Accidentally saw her live because she opened for eden and I didn’t know until I got there, had never heard her before and she made eye contact with me for the entire set to the point where people around me were asking if I knew her. It was weird but she was cool. Saw this video and was like OMG THATS THE GIRL WHO STARED AT ME FOR 45 MINUTES
