The iPad 10.2" from 2019 is one of my favorite devices. For the price you will not find another computer/tablet whatever that is as powerful. This thing goes with me everywhere and its time to find out if you can use it as your only video editing computer!

iPad is a beast for sure! I have the newest Air and it can handle everything my GH5 can throw at it. An iPad and the Apple pencil is all I really need to edit video. (Come on Apple give us FCPX on iOS)

For general editing, like cutting and putting clips into one single line, I would assume would work pretty seamlessly with this. The main issue I've ran into is that I didn't get a large enough storage capacity, so you may be limited in what you can import from your camera and edit. You could edit a big video in sections and then add together at the end, but that could be tedious. But this affordable iPad could be a good start! I do enjoy editing on my iPad as compared to my very outdated laptop on free software.

Recently picked up the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard/trackpad case for the iPad 10.2in. Man, this iPad became my go-to everyday device now. Haven’t turned on my MacBook or PC in days. Does all the light-tasks I need. $149.99 is asking a lot though when that’s half the cost of the iPad itself, but if you want to spoil yourself with a laptop replacement, I highly recommend the Logitech Combo Touch case.

It's not my only editing computer, but I do a lot on the generation before this, the 9.7 iPad, and it's a champ. Love it for mobile video editing away from the desk.

I got the same iPad, I bought it for my parents as a YouTube watching tool. Been edit photo with Lightroom & Phohoshop. Gotta say I have no issue using this iPad along the way editing... smooth as butter....

I have a built PC and prefer using the iPad, it feels so much more organic, love using the pencil, a lot more natural input than a mouse and keyboard
