Thief jokes aside though, the British museum is actually great for preserving history. Without it, many artefacts would have been lost or destroyed.
Look at what happened to the entire outside of the pyramids. It may not have been entirely morally clear to take that stuff, but it contributed greatly to archeology and the preservation of history.

All the cry babies complaining that the British stole this want to remember that the Nazis stole so so so much yet never seem to cry this much or say “we want it back”.

If it wasn’t for the British these artefacts would’ve been destroyed due to wars or natural disasters. We have taken care of so so many relics. For fuck sake the romans even left us some stuff.

The ancient Roman and Egyptian and even Greek relics would have been, without a doubt, sold to some president or billionaire when they belong in a museum.

Some of these relics are here due to being SOLD to the British museum.

I’ll even go on to say that anything related to the times of Jesus belong in Israel, not Rome or the Vatican. Why? Because they’re from his time.

I’d say that anything related to Nazi Germany such as the skull or fragmented pieces of skull of Hitler need to be in Austria or Berlin, not Russia.

Go cry to the rest of the world because it’s them who sold the relics for a quick bit of coin.

Allow your governments to look after and take care of these relics.
Allow them to give people a free tour of them. You can NOT do that. Why? Because the places they were “stolen from” (said by people who can’t accept that we’re taking better care of them) would have to charge their own people to see their own relics.

I FINALLY WENT THERE!!! After a long time, I finally get to go there! But unfortunately, I didn’t get to see all of these antiques mentioned in the video. If I could go to United Kingdom again, I’d definitely visit the British museum again on Friday because it opens until 8 PM only on Friday.

If not for the Britishers this artifacts wouldn't have been there in this age, or might have got destroyed or sold in black markets, ik that those are stolen but atleast well taken care of

I wonder if the people brainlessly repeating that it’s stolen ever thought about the fact these incredibly rare and valuable parts of human history would be destroyed/lost to time or just kept in the private collections of a few powerful people, if there was a museum in Soviet Russia this dedicated and secure I’d have no problem with them keeping any number of artifacts if they ran it like the British museum

It’s called the British history museum not because it’s British history because it’s a global history museum in Britain
It’s also on one of the most visited cities on the planet and teaches history to more people than if the artefacts were anywhere else
It has more value in the museum than being flogged off to billionaires or probably miss handled
