Do you use WordPress or Webflow? Thinking about a switch?

Planning to move to webflow. Mainly cause I'm design oriented and love to customize
While it can be done with Elementor, the pro version of the plug-in is way too expensive.

That was the best comparison video I've seen so far. The biggest issue I've had with webflow so far is the restrictions on hosting. You can't use the CMS if you don't host with Webflow. Right now in the EU due to the privacy shield issue that's an absolute game changer for me. But if they sort that out I will happily never stray from Webflow it's a pleasure to use.

Visual is awesome at the beginning. Nice office space. Audio needs some work though. Echoes can be knocked down with acoustic treatment or a mic on a boom. Prefer a lav mic though for appearance.

awesome video! maybe a weird question but, can you use webflow to design a page, and then upload that design into different platforms such as Wordpress or wix etc? So, using web flow for the design phase, but using for example a Wordpress site for the live website, plus the CMS etc? Thanks!

Good comparison, thank you. But a little outdated, you can use elementor to design woocommerce pages as well. WP+Elementor still wins for me, hands down.

I'm a full-time web developer, so interestingly, I found WordPress to be harder to navigate and feeling overwhelmed by all the settings menu items with walls of text.
That's likely because Webflow does a terrific job of hiding options that are out of context, so you only see what you need based on what is currently selected.
Very similar user experience to any Adobe application, so if you're comfortable with Illustrator or Photoshop, you should feel right at home inside Webflow.

Webflow is better unless you need extreme functionality, and then it's WordPress or React/Vue (real code)...

Thanks for the review. I am an academic researcher and would like to set up a website that features a great landing page, blog, and the option to sell my ecourse, pdfs, and digital products. What would you suggest is the best option for someone like myself? I have experimented with WordPress in the past but the themes, page builders, plugins are all too much, especially when you have to upgrade or when one or more plugins don't work the way they were set-up. I have not played with WebFlow and am wondering if it would give me the flexibility to do all I want. Can you please suggest which one would be the best for me?

Webflow just made a commercial about how their sites "just work". I think that means they don't require maintenance. Is that true?

I believe in new technology...Though it takes time to learn but it hardly takes one or two month to learn it and you can charge more once you are master in it...Currently I am using figma, and the result is awesome...

If your code is bloated and your page loads slow SEO is going to get ugly. Even if you rank, you'll get reduced click through. Even my mom gets annoyed and navigates away from slow sites. Younger generations are far less patient.

The open source of WordPress definitely has some appeal. As a beginner, I'll have to give this some consideration. Thanks for the info.
