The random and wild dashboard signals, including the "error, brakes" etc is totally my old Golf 4 😂 I sold it to a buddy long years ago, it still lives, still "magically" passing the TÜV inspection, still beeps like mad when you turn it on. The whole car is rotting, the electronics are a mess and have been for years, but it still drives just fine. 😂😂😂❤

I have no idea how people treat their VWs, but our 1.9 TDI Passat has been in our family for 23 years and has 500.000 kilometers on it. Always looked after, still running strong. It's my first car now, I bought it off of my parents. Would I buy a new VW? Probably not. But if you look after the old ones (especially the 1.9 TDI models) they can run a long time. Take care of your cars people, they need regular servicing, fresh oil and some love!

Well yea it's kind of funy, they have their share of problem, but it will run for many miles with basic maintainance (obviously not the complicated models with complicated engines), I have a Golf Mk6 with 170k miles, no problems with the car so far, replaced some normal parts just like you would on any car.
Problem is that people don't take care of them
