So apologies if I missed it, but what happened to that god of reason?

So this is why psionics never took off in Toril the elves killed them all because they didn't want competition from the tall folk

Literally everyone: I think it’s best morally and societally that we treat each other with respect and kindness and not commit any atrocities.

Elves: 👀

Funnily enough I was just wondering about the history of this region. Love your work AJ, great to hear such excellent research from an obviously experienced DM/player. And a fellow kiwi no less! Keep it up my man 😊

Would love to see a video on the lake of steam, land of lions, or innarlith. I selfishly admit it is because im about to run a campaign based in Innarlith lol. Ive done a bunch of research from 2nd edition and 3rd material myself but i love your deep dives.

Passing this one along to my Spelljammer GM. A hidden enclave of Jhaamdatha tucked away in the Astral Sea could dovetail nicely with what looks to be his overarching plot line.

Fantastic video AJ

Also i know you dont watch alot of YouTubers but i wonder if you've seen one called Sleight Hand, their videos make me think of your old plans for a series where you were going to have your Sage travel Faerun visiting locations.

That's one thing I like about the Forgotten Realms as a setting: it doesn't ignore the fact that an insular (often xenophobic) race with tremendous magical power would *certainly* be committing cosmic tier atrocities.

I've been a fan of the Forgotten Realms for over 20 years, and much of the lore I can absorb forcD&D is from there. I also really like psionics...so why didn't I know about a psionic human empire in Faerun? 😊

It's a shame it is so gone, but I might have to do some poking around. It's also odd, at least to me, that they had a psionic focus, but not many Sorcerers, as that's the easiest way to make a psion, in my opinion, at least in 5e. Psychic warriors don't really feel like mind warriors, too me, these days. Still a very fun video, and glad I learned mire stuff I did not know!

I remember way back when wotc had aforums you had people condeming the elves over this saying that they could have just left the area. the only thing you can do to reply is to leave your home first before you tell someone to just leave. also the jhamdath ended many elves just for wood....

Wow all cylinders firing! Awesome video I had visions of the high republic and the fall all wrapped up in one. Who knew (besides you apparently) that the elves could commit such acts of genocide and still get all the good press? Well done again sir.
